Meet Jonger Oranje
Jonger Oranje is the Netherlands’ biggest youth football talent programme, and it has been growing every year since 2007. It gives boys and girls aged 5 to 18 the chance to show what they can do on the football pitch, with a real pathway into the professional game.
The programme organises Talent Days at amateur clubs all over the Netherlands. Young players compete, and scouts from different clubs and even international teams are right there watching.
The players who stand out earn a spot at the Jonger Oranje Finale. The very best get selected for the official Jonger Oranje teams and receive something truly special: a friendly match against a professional club at the club’s own training ground, wearing the full Jonger Oranje kit. That means clubs like Feyenoord, PSV, AZ and FC Utrecht.

JO Academy Cup 2026: Powered by Hello Straw
The JO Academy Cup is one of the standout events in the Jonger Oranje calendar. It brings together the best young academy players from across the Netherlands in a high-energy, one-day tournament that showcases the future of Dutch football talent.
In 2026, the tournament was held in early June at Soccer Boys in Bleiswijk, with young talents competing across three age categories: U9, U11 and U13. Hello Straw was the title sponsor, bringing our full sustainable product range to the pitch. It was a brilliant first showcase of what this partnership is all about.
